Trip: Portland Learn to Lead sport (members only)

Cost: £11 per person per night,  please organise directly with K to reduce the amount of admin for the campsite)

Unfortunately, this trip won’t be suitable for you if you aren’t signed off to lead climb and lead belaying indoors, but keep your eyes peeled for other trips soon.

This trip has space for 8 indoor lead climbers who want to learn to lead sport outdoors, learn to rethread anchors and solve common problems. These 8 places will be first come first served and will set up a waiting list if we go over the first 8. Please let us know if you can no longer attend as soon as you can so we can fill your space.  

We will be camping for the weekend so you will need your own camping equipment: Tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, stove, pans, eating equipment. If you are struggling with any of these please ask and we will do our best to help. 

For climbing, you will ideally also have your own harness, helmet, shoes and belay device. Please let us know if you need to borrow kit and we can see what we can do.

Independent sport climbers, you are very welcome to join the trip, do your own thing or hang out but we will not have the capacity to do any refreshers during the trip. If you want a refresher on rethreading or anything else before the trip please ask.
